8 QUESTIONS.......

I was asked by A Real Housewife to answer her 8 Questions....So here goes........

1. What would you request for your last meal?

NO QUESTIONS ASKED......Olive Garden!!!! Chicken Parm., Salad, Breadsticks....yummmmm

2. Who are you closest to in your family and why?

I am closest to my mother. Even though we fight with each other constantly, she has always been there for me and has gotten me out of ALOT of trouble and bailed me out on numerous occasions.  She is my number one fan !!!

3. Who is your favorite artist and current song?

My favorite artist is Sara Evans....she has gone through her fair share of Bullshit and lived to sing about it.  When she is happy and in love she sings about it and when she is heartbroken and alone she sings to piss off the douche bag.  Favorite song ....hands down ....Right now at least is A Little Bit Stronger.....I can much relate to her song!!!

4. Favorite dessert?

I'm going to be boring here and say chocolate brownies ...like cheapo out of the box mix. haha  OR homemade rice crispy treats.

5. What outfit is your 'go-to' outfit that always makes you feel fabulous?

Probably just jeans and heels.  Keep it simple

6. What is your least favorite aspect of your current job?

It is just a temporary job (like for the next year) My least favorite is the money or the lack thereof.  It is a ZERO stress job and SUPER easy so I would not expect to get paid alot but I do have the absolute best bosses who are caring and very nice.

7. When you were a kid, what was your dream job?

I really wanted to be a Vet or a Marine Biologist.   HAHA...both requiring wayyyyy too much math and/or science for this girl!

8. Do you prefer online shopping or actually going to the store?

Because I moved and have basically no stores in this town, I have started doing some online shopping but I definitely prefer actually going shopping. I LOVE SHOPPING!!!!

IF YOU REALLY KNEW ME WEDNESDAY

IF YOU REALLY KNEW ME, YOU WOULD KNOW THAT:

I love animals, especially dogs, and get very upset when they are treated badly.

I think George Clooney is the hottest man alive .....aside from Big Brother Lane...Love you Lane lol

I absolutely cannot stand grasshoppers ...They gross me out and I will not get near them...which has created quite a problem seeing how they are everywhere near my house.  I will come home for lunch and there will be one on my back door.  I will sit there and throw rocks at him until he moves haha

I get extremely annoyed when people cannot spell.....IT DRIVES ME INSANE.

I secretly love reality TV...shhhhh don't tell

Even though there are some decisions in life that I have made, I do not regret anything.  I am a strong believer that everything happens for a reason and that you must make mistakes in order to learn from them.  I wouldn't trade my life or my life experiences for the world.

I'm very skeptical when it comes to "soul mates".  I have met several guys and insisted that they were my soul mate....just to find out that their soul jumped into the pants of the girl down the road haha.  I have extremely bad luck/bad relationships/etc.....but who knows .... maybe there is such thing as a soul mate.

and last but certainly not least...............

I LOVE VODKA and diet coke.....yes it is weird...but its my fav.

Top 5 Ways to Waste Time at Work.....

Now that I have an office job some days go by SOOOOOO Slow.  Especially when I have absolutely nothing to do around here.  If anyone else is in the same spot...here is the Top 5 things to do to waste time at work...... and they each may sound funny but trust me I have tried atleast half of it and it really does seem to kill alot of time!!!

Top 5 Ways to Waste Time at Work.....

  1. FACEBOOK.....you can check up on old friends (possibly even stalk them if you choose to do so- facebook makes that extremely easy these days), make comments to every single one of your friend's posts/pictures, one word- FARMVILLE, and even buy a car/house/dog through the Marketplace.

     2.  EBAY......listed below are actual things and the owner's description of things you can find on EBAY...which worked out perfect for me because I have been looking for a majority of this stuff for awhile:
  • Bamboo Stick Of Aggression

“I came across this Bamboo stick in the early 90’s on the grounds of a college campus. Abandoned in the dirt alongside a lonely sidewalk, I claimed it. This Bamboo stick seems to create a negative aggressive energy when handled among people. It does not bring good luck.”
  • Tom Cruise Semen

“I have in my possession an item of true rarity, semen from Tom Cruise. As described in the disclaimer, I can’t physically sell semen on eBay so I am not but instead selling you a glass container whose content is a mystery.”

  •  Vampire Repelling Crucifix

“Troubled by vampires? Then don’t miss your chance to bid on this vampire repelling crucifix with Jesus figure. Crucifix is wood and the Jesus figure is hard plastic. Has the words INRI above Jesus. Crucifix is twelve inches high perfect for holding in hand while fighting the forces of evil.”

  • Glove Filled With Flour

“A glove filled with flour. This thing is terrific!! I have had so much fun with it over the years and it is about time someone else has a chance to bask in the glory that is a glove filled with flour. The proud recipient of this beauty will no doubt achieve eternal happiness.”

  • A Date With My Gay Uncle Frank

“To support my college fund I am selling a date with my attractive young uncle Frank. Frank is a nice young Italian single. He is 5″11 and weighs about 180 pounds. He enjoys dinning out and loves the outdoors. He has emerald green eyes, and is a hospitality specialist. “

  • Real New York State Grass

“You will be bidding on one blade of original New York state grass, the legal type of course. Never been to New York state. Well now you can own a piece of it all for yourself. This is approximately two to four inches long, nice and green and best of all it comes from New York state.”

....THIS LIST OF THESE AMAZING FINDS IS ENDLESS...check them out on Ebay LOL.

   3.   ORGANIZE....Tired of being at the computer all day. Start cleaning and organizing everything.  Sort your sticky notes out by color, organize your pens, Sort all of your clips and paperclips out by size, sharpen your scissors. Want to waste even more time...try out all of your pens/highlighters/pencils and throw them away if they went bad.  You could even take the keys off your keyboard one by one and clean.

4.  EMAIL....You could check your email about 4 times every hour and respond back to every single email that you receive...Even the spam.  If you don't know the people emailing you (and you know its not a virus) make up funny stories to email people and see if you get any responses.

5.   WORKOUT....that's right!  Find creative ways to workout at work.  Crabwalk to the copy machine, crouches while you wait on the fax to go through, lift the staplers as weights, speed walk around the office.....If this doesn't draw attention to yourself at work..I don't know what will HAHA.  You could even bust of with the sweat bands and take a little jog around the office using your ipod of course.  For a more enjoyable time, have your coworkers line the halls and hand you cups of water and chant encouraging words!! :)

FORGIVE ME FRIDAY!

Happy Friday to all.  First of all let me say that this blog is not titled Forgive me Friday to preach and ask forgiveness for all my sins.  Nor is it some holier than thou blog about why you should go to church or your going to hell. Nope...this is just a humorous attempt to make fun of myself for all of the crazy/less glamorous things I have done this week. Here goes nothing........

FORGIVE ME FOR.......

  • Throwing an entire carton of milk away that went bad

  • Skipping 10 minutes of running to get my Latte at Starbucks

  • Not getting on to Kayla for getting into the trash...just because her little face is too cute

  • Wasting an entire day on facebook/blogging instead of actually working

  • Ordering the Zumba DVD haha

  • Drinking a whole bottle of wine...By myself

  • Secretly wishing that Lane and Brittany from Big Brother would get together and if they dont I would like to have first dibs.... HE IS BEAUTIFUL

  • Buying $200.00 worth of groceries but still being addicted to Schlotskys

  • Taking money from my savings account to shop for everything for myself

  • Planning devious plots with K-SMI (some of which have back fired)

  • Reading complete strangers blogs and laughing for hours

  • Chasing around a cheating spouse of one of our clients-a whole other story LOL

  • Drinking almost the entire jug of water at work and playing it off as it wasn't me

  • Having the biggest crush on our investigator....even though he is married (he is super hot)

  • Only buying plastic cups, silverware and plates- just so that I do not have to do dishes

  • Not having a dishwasher and doing damage on the economy..oops

  • Anything that happens this weekend....It could get crazy...fair warning

  • NOT GIVING A DAMN ABOUT A CERTAIN EX AND MOVING ON WITH LIFE...FINALLY!
Well I have a very eventful weekend ahead of me...so that could possibly be an entire blog next week I am sure.  Can't wait for whats in store for me.  Everyone have a great weekend!!!!

YOU WANT ME TO MOVE WHAT?????

Before I forget...In response to yesterday's blog...I tried my Zumba DVD again last night and please don't waste your money.  Just go get you a set of maraca's and download a Latin CD and dance your ass off.  This is basically what the $70.00 DVD entails.  Thank the lord I was not doing this workout in public.  It is basically doing aerobics and then he has you add in your hips..It was all I could do to keep up with the aerobics part much less start shaking my hips.  I am a dancer and have rhythm and still was extremely embarrassed so I feel bad for a less experienced person.  I was even out loud laughing at myself to the point I was in tears.  Then we get to the "Belly Dancing" section of the DVD....HAHAHAHAH oh my lord if someone was video taping I could have won America's Funniest Home Videos.  WHAT A NIGHTMARE! They start playing this Arabian music and dancing around like Genie in A Bottle video.....At that point I cha-cha'd right over and shut off the DVD.....I'm done.  If anyone would like to purchase the Zumba Home DVD system please call me! LOL

WORKOUT WEDNESDAY

Yes...I totally stole the whole idea of Workout Wednesday from Legally Fabulous (thanks girl) but I just loved the idea.

So as of July 1, 2010 I have been running at the trail everyday (well I may have missed 1-2 days due to a hangover LOL)....but other than that I have been on track.  One of the main benefits of moving back to Nacogdoches was because of this trail that we have.  The trail follows a creek and it is in the shade for the most part- which is great for Extremely white girls like me HAHA.  I love love love my trail and love getting up early before work each morning to go. My dog loves it also.....It never fails.....she is at the foot of my bed at 5:50am every morning with her tail wagging and ready to go.  HOW IN THE WORLD DOES SHE KNOW WHAT TIME IT IS???? I swear she can read the clock haha.

The part of the trail that I do is 3.1 miles (5 K) so I would have to say that I walk 1 mile and jog the rest.
Calculations:

  • Miles ran since July 1, 2010 = 80 miles
Wow.....Pretty impressed with myself.  I would LOVE to go longer but there just isn't enough time in the mornings :(    I see people at the trail between 5 and 6pm.  ARE THESE PEOPLE NUTS???? It is so smoking hot at that time and I think I would have a heart attack after 2 minutes out there.  No Thank You.  I will stick to my mornings.

Now I know you are sick of me talking about this trail ...LOL.  But 1 more thing. Something strange has occurred....Yes, even stranger than the lady with the walker, her dog running around and pipe in her hand at 6am in the morning smoking weed (whole other story).  There are several bridges that you must pass on the trail.  The other day Kayla (my dog) stopped on the bridge and started barking at the bridge.  So I stopped to check it out and there was something popping out of the boards on the bridge.  It was VERY weird....like some sort of claw, but a pretty good size object. So I was not sure if there was a person under the bridge doing that or some sort of creature.  Needless to say- every time we cross this bridge now- I stop right before it and then run like the devil is chasing me over it.  I'm sure one of these days someone is going to see me and think I am CRAZY...but I don't care...I'm not letting whatever that was get me.  HAHAH.

In addition to Workout Wednesday I will share with you my most recent purchase.  I am such a sucker for workout info. commercials and have a whole house of lovely products that I just had to have after watching the before and after pictures of people.

I saw these people dancing around with their cha-cha sticks and having a great time....so guess what I did...That's right...I ordered it.  It came in last week and I was very excited.  Yes, the cha-cha sticks are actually weights that make noise but they are pretty fun.  The only thing is that the actual Zumba part is pretty hard if you don't have wood floors or tile (very hard to move around on carpet).  But it did come with a toning and sculpting DVD that is good.

That is all I have for today! Take care!!!!!

FAVORITE THINGS- AUGUST

Well alot of bloggers do the whole "Not Me Monday" but everyday for me is a "Not Me" moment so I have decided to use this Monday to blog about my favorite things so far this month. With my move from the big city to the country, I haven't been able to do my normal shopping but I have still managed to find some good deals. If you know me well then you know that for the most part I do not buy anything unless its on sale. I'm kinda cheap...but oh well. (Well except for panties.....Victoria Secret is a MUST..hahaha).

FAVORITE THINGS FOR AUGUST

LOVE THESE!!!  I picked these up at Target for $7.00 yesterday.  You heard me right ...... $7.00.  They go with black or brown or khaki and love them.

If you know me at all then you know my obsession with animal prints especially Zebra.  I found this Make-Up Valet at Target on sale for $12.00.  It has TONS of pouches for brushes, powders, etc.  It also has a hanger so that you could hang it on a door or mirror. (Oh and the fabric just wipes off- good for me because somehow I manage to ruin make-up bags in like a month).

If you don't buy make-up from http://www.eyeslipsface.com/ than you are really missing out.  A friend of mine introduced me to this fabulous company a few years ago and I have ordered from them ever since.  Now don't get me wrong ....I still use my MAC foundation/powder ....but for everything else E.L.F. is the way to go.  You would think after looking at this site that it is all cheapo stuff but when you use it ...IT IS WONDERFUL.  Once you order once, they send you emails like once a month with amazing deals. No shipping, 50% off, etc.  Their packaging is cheap but I think it is just because they charge next to nothing for their products.

This new product is called MINERAL FACE PRIMER ($6.00) and it is like a primer for your make-up.  It is the coolest feeling stuff I have ever put on my face.  It really makes your make-up stay on all day.  I have seen a similar product on TV called "photo-finish"....but that is like $25.00.  This stuff is amazing.

Here is another MUST HAVE from E.L.F..  It is an eye shadow primer and an eyeliner sealer all in one.  You can use the eyeliner side and dip it into any of your eye shadows and line your eyes (this makes your eyeliner any color you want).  The Eye Primer side goes on your lid to hold your shadow in place.  Love this also!!!

Saw this skirt (among others things) on a sale rack at BELK.  They were having a huge sale!  It was originally $78.00 and I walked away with it for $20.00.  They have it in several colors.  It is little silver and gold things on the bottom and makes it a little fancier than just a plain skirt.  Bought this is black and have every intention of wearing it with the cheetah heels LOL.

BY THE WAY- since we don't have normal big chain department stores, BELK has become my new best friend (mini-Dillards) haha.

LOVE LOVE LOVE my new Nike Navina Shox.  Even though they are terrible for trail running (I know Amanda LOL) they are so comfortable....not to mention Extremely cute :) and Nike's new fabric just wipes clean. Had mine for almost a month and use them everyday and they still look brand new. These are a little costly BUT very worth every penny.

I have really been good about drinking my 10 glasses of water daily (almost become an obsession- I even got an Iphone Ap to track my water) I'm a dork I know haha.  But I love my new hot pink Brita Water Filter Pitcher. They have it at Target and Walmart (I know I hate Walmart too).  I think mine was about $25.00 but they saves buying water bottles and it is ECO friendly.

LOSE IT APP.   This IPhone Ap is wonderful.  It allows you to put in your goal weight and set up a plan.  It tells you what you need to do to reach your goal.  It also lets you enter all of your meals for the day and calculates your calorie intake.  You can put in your exercise and it adds the calories lost.  At the end of the day is calculates everything and tells you if you are over or under.  The App is FREE and it is great....It makes you accountable for everything that you eat/drink and the exercise that you engage in.

Even though I am not into the whole "Vampire" craze I love the new TV show The Gates.  It is about a community that is filled with vampires, werewolves, etc and the kids in The Gates are involved also.

I saw this stuff on a commercial and was pretty skeptical but I bought it last night and to my surprise....IT IS AMAZING.  I used it on my glass coffee tables, my kitchen tables and counters and even in the bathroom.  It cleaned every surface.  2 Thumbs up....I can now throw all of  my cleaning supplies away and only use one!!!! WOW!  (Oh and they have different fragrances- the Rain smells pretty!)

I have never been a really big wine drinker but this stuff is amazing.  I bought the blanc instead of the Merlot.  VERY GOOD.  This was $2.97 at Walmart.

Well I have pretty much been blogging ALL morning long.  I guess its time to get to work.  More to come later........
